SPORT SUV
Aerodynamic engineering not only defines Range Rover Sport's shape, but also gives it purpose. For Example, the tailgate is designed, with separate lifting glass, to produce a rounder shape and smoother airflow. The rear spoiler is placed in the optimum position to control the air's separation point as it leaves the vehicle, significantly reducing drag and turbulence. The sculpted lower-side sills not only help prevent stones from chipping the wheel arches, but also aid cross-wind stability. Aerodynamic considerations have also played a major role in designing the drop of the roof from front to back, the clamshell bonnet and sharply ranked windscreen.
